'60s Korean & Japanese Gangster Films

I think everyone has a film that makes them think, "Alright. This, is pretty fucking awesome." I had just finished watching Branded to Kill when I made this and now I feel that I need to make more based on this genre....

Madame .....

This is the first of a series, an homage, if you will. The original by John Singer Sargent was a portrait with a story. This tiny part of history about a woman who was hailed as a great beauty, stylish and adventurous. She was the woman every woman in Paris wanted to be and the woman every man wanted. All of this disappeared almost immediately after the Paris Salon in 1884.

The model in this photo is Nikki Radov.

Just A Day

I have been out on the street shooting in The City. I forgot how much fun it is to walk around aimlessly and snap away.  Castro and Corona Heights are beautiful neighborhoods and now I want to share.

New App Design!

I have been working on a de Young Campaign for the Picasso Exhibition that is coming to San Francisco this Summer. Although it is only a mock up for my portfolio I'm very excited about it. I have spent the last 4 weeks on this Special Exhibition Application of de Young and I wanted to share a couple stills from it.

The Very Much Anticipated......

I have also been working with the talented Nikki Rad on my wedding Save The Dates and Invitations. I have to say that I am very pleased with the outcome and am looking forward to seeing what we come up with for the Invitation packages, floral arrangements etc.

This is why I've been so busy.....

Once again I have neglected my lovely blog. 

I have been working very hard on several projects, one of them being this "Empathy Thank You Package" from XENIA MEDIA. For the last couple of months I have been working at XENIA heading the creative department and helping out with the publication of Speaking In Thumbs: The Handbook Of Empathy by Rachel Minard.
