This shoot was a lovely experience as I had the privilege of working with the stunning Louise Bisby.

The following post includes a couple ads I created for a class a couple quarters ago. There is still fine tuning to be done but over all I'm quite pleased with these 3. The Hotel Des Arts is a small boutique hotel in downtown San Francisco that invites local artists to paint the walls in each hotel room. They also boast an in house gallery which features new artists, both local and international. I chose three gallery artists to feature in the print ads.

The Beginning

I named this blog after one of my favorite books that seamlessly combines nature and art in describing the various activities that take place while most of us are asleep. The book describes the remarkable, the frightening and the curious nightly activities which inspired scientists, poets and artists for centuries. It is here that I post the work that comes from the inspiration I take in from books, art and people.
